Welcome message from the founder of SOHRCe
I have always been impressed by the openness and willingness within my community of fellow HR professionals when it comes to sharing knowledge and resources. I think we're unique in that way and I wanted to create a useful tool to encourage this ongoing exchange of information. We can't possibly know all the answers, or have all the best candidates up our sleeves, but collectively, we can successfully manage all elements of HR. To keep this flow of resources abundant, I want this website to be four things: FREE, USEFUL , EASY and SAFE to use.
FREE: You will not be charged for basic membership to this site, PERIOD. Let's keep membership numbers growing by making this tool ultimately accessible to all interested, bonafide HR professionals.
USEFUL: This site will immediately allow you to ask and answer daily HR questions and post jobs and resumes. We will add an event calendar, service provider reviews and a helpful resources section. I encourage feedback and will develop this site on an ongoing basis according to the requests of the community.
EASY TO USE: I have always preferred clean, easily navigatable websites. I will strive to keep this website as such at all times.
SAFE TO USE: Your information will not be sold, marketed, or shared outside of this website in any way. This website will require permission to use, and accounts will only be granted to HR professionals who are here to share and share alike. Anyone abusing this site or using it to market their services without permission will be denied access. You may choose to show your name and company name on postings, but are not required to. Your email, phone, and other direct contact details will not be shown unless you specifically type them into the body of your postings. We may add a networking tool later, if our members feel this would be a useful component.
I encourage you now to join and to utilize this website as much as possible. I hope to receive ongoing feedback on ways to improve and develop the site to further serve the community. I also ask that you help membership numbers grow by promoting this site to your fellow HR colleagues.
